1. Remove the old cushion from the sofa and lay it on a flat surface
2. Measure width (side to side), depth (front to back), and height/thickness
3. For T-cushions: Measure the T-extension separately — the width of the front arms and how far they extend
4. Note the shape: Is it a simple rectangle, a T-shape, an L-shape, or something with curved edges?
5. Take photos of the old cushion from above, the side, and inside the sofa frame

The right foam makes all the difference. We offer three density levels, each wrapped in Dacron polyester batting for a smooth, rounded look:

• Soft (1.8 lb density, ~24 ILD): A plush, sink-in feel. Best for back cushions, reading chairs, and deep loungy sofas where you want to settle in.
• Medium (2.2 lb density, ~32 ILD): Our most popular option. Balanced comfort and support — perfect for everyday sofa seating. Holds up well over years of daily use.
• Firm (2.8 lb density, ~44 ILD): Supportive and structured. Ideal for high-traffic seating, dining benches, and anyone who prefers a more upright, supportive sit. Also the best choice for cushions that need to hold their shape precisely.
